Very nice and unusual tank.
Being a low tank and with all the space above it,you can use plants that can be viewed from the top and flower or marsh plants. |

Thanks bro Burntrubber. Yes i initially wanted to have marsh plants.. but they all grow quite big... afraid that the scape will be out of balance. so decided to jus plant aquatic plants. have some moss that creep up the driftwood, out of water.
will think of how i can improve on it.. Cheers! |

Nice! Some Altums or discus would looks great in there... I guess discus would be the cheaper alternative. They are not difficult to keep as long as your filtration is strong and water is clean! Just don't get the juvies (small ones) unless you do a lot of water changes. The mid size (~4inches) are more hardy. I recently started with 2 turquoise last month in my 4 ft too and they are happy! No water changes.... Just top up water. I run 2 filter canisters.
