3rd Nishikigoi Home Of Asia Show 2012
Congratulations to Mr Max Ng and volunteers for a very successful 3rd Nishikigoi Home of Asia 2012.
This year's event was very special. It was not just an event where hobbyists get together and showcase their koi. It saw hobbyists getting together to do something for the society, for the less fortunate. Hobbyists offered their prized kois for auction to raise funds for the Lions Home for the Elders in Toa Payoh and Bedok. Funds were also raised through the sale of floral arrangements and the floral arrangements were then given to the homes to beautify and brighten the living environment of those living in the homes. I was very impressed by the generosity of the volunteers, who sacrifice their time and effort to make this event so successful and meaningful.
