How reduce PH
Hi Guys
Any good option to reduce them beside using blackwater? test on tap 8.4, tank 7.5-7.7 WC 2x a week 20-30% New tank run for 3 weeks but did some wc due to my red get jumpy after intro blackwater and remove some bioload. OHF 3 tier of 3 Top wool mid CR bottom 2x CR 1x biohome+ Thanks |

Ada soil? Africana can reduce till quite low.

I would just let it be. The pH will reduce as your tank matures then eventually you will need to add coral chips / oyster shell to buffer the water to keep the pH from crashing.
My philosophy is not to mess around too much with the pH. Your livestock will adapt. It is better to maintain stability rather than altering pH to suit the theoretical preference of the fish. Besides, pH of 7.5 to 7.7 is fine. |

Hope so, I tried blackwater resulting my red jumpy like no tmr. bum on upper lower 1 in between the barbell + 1 drop scales and not eating well
