Default Help~ Tank with Planaria...

haiz...
I have a 1 feet tank with i recently found quite a bit of small planaria on the wall..
They are stil quite small.
I have stopped feeding for about 3-4 days already!

In the tank, I have about 50+ shrimplets and 20 adults.. Do you guys have any techniques to remove these planaria? I think they are harmful to the shrimps...

my method is i will get some feeder molly to eat them up.They will nib on them and once they get addicted on them, they will start to search high and low for it.Quite fun to watch the mollys feed.

Will the Mollys go for the shrimplets?
Are their mouths big or small?

Agree with this idea...no easy to get rid of the panaria...siphon by a small air pipe is one of the effective ways that I also use...but have to be careful not to siphon the small shrimplets out. However, another point to be aware of is...once Panaria occurs in the tank of which normally has no panaria at all, it sometime means that the water condition is becoming bad... So you need to be concern on this point too.
