WY's Jungle River: A re-scape
I made a decision to move away my L600 pseudas and transfer them into a solitary tank for various reasons. The main one being that it was getting a little too cramped for my liking...
So after some back-breaking work to catch and transfer the pseudas into their new home, I got the chance to get creative when re-scaping this bio-tope set up! (That to me, is always the fun bit) Thanks to a fellow discus buddy, I was able to grab hold of some great looking DW from GC. And so they formed the main hardscape of the tank- I was inspired by the brackish water environments where there are many mangrove roots that form pockets of space beneath the trees. Which becomes ideal hiding spots for fishes. So that formed my main inspiration in forming the bio-tope look for this tank. Thanks for viewing Have a great week ahead! Super nice scape. Well done! And the discus are comfortable enough to be swimming freely around.

Thanks Roni!

Yup I love watching them, together with the rummy noses school through the pockets of space through the branches. I think it gives them a sense of security too as there's lots of shade all through the tank. Thanks man! |

Must have been lots of effort doing up.....but end result is really very nice.
Were all your wilds in the tank when you did all the re-scaping? |
