How to maintain the blue colour of blue base xb?
Hi all, may i know how to maintain the blue colour of blue base xb?
Frequency and volume of water needed to change, colour of tank's background, type of lighting using and tanning duration. Pls advise, thanks. |

Good question. My guess is combination background and lighting (lighting colour and placement).

Throw in black tank.
No tanning needed to maintain the blue |

actually, black tank and tanning are both essential I feel.. Even though the blue will be there in a black tank, tanning will help bring out the best in the fish..
There is a topic posted before where the brudder showed the difference using tanning led lights from qh, he's xback became super tok kong after tanning.. the blue was so both are very important imho... genes plays the biggest part. |

Agreed with Bro Lex, gene is the key. To help BBXB, black tank and tanning are good.
