AFC opens for Membership Application/Renewal - 2013/2014

AFC is now open for memberships. We are inviting arowana related entities and like-minded enthusiasts to join us as members.

Do note that the new term will commences 1 Sept 2013 and ends 31 August 2014

New Application
For Associate Members (arowana farms),
entrance fee is $800 (one time) plus $500 (annual fee)

For Associate Members (product companies, LFS and other commercial entities),
entrance fee is $300 (one time) plus $180 (annual fee)

For Ordinary Members, which are the individual hobbyists,
entrance fee is $100 (one time) plus $60 (annual fee).

Renewal of your current Membership
For Associate Members (arowana farms),
$500 (annual fee)

$180 (annual fee)

I am in your same position. i made my payments and will likely receive the rights soon.

I would say what the forum and club wants is all about responsibility and honour. What we can contribute and do for the club and how passionate we are about our fishes.

AF do not want people coming in joining as members just to treat this forum as a platform for buy sell. They want dedicated and committed enthusists to contribute to threads, to the club, to show commitment.

Read up some of the threads. They are detailed and well written. After reading, you should be able to get what i am driving at.

Q:If this yr i join as new member($160) but next yr did not join. So the following yr will i need to pay $160 or $60 to become member again.

$160 ..... we are unable to track members who join one year, quit one year, or two years, or three years, then join another year that kind of thing.

Therefore we can only provide renewal fees at $60 for existing current members only.

Kindly understand that Edmundo, our membership administrator, is a volunteer who has a full time job.
