superb informaton. Thks bro. other then using uv did u also use garlic for feeding and/or change water at the same time?

Sorry for get to add feeding of Seachem garlic guard every 2 day.

Congrate and cheer for your BT

. UV will definately work !to control Ich growth!!!

To add on precaution measure:
1) Weekly dose some bacteria supplement (1-2 cap) will help to growth and maintain the good bacteria growth.

2) Once a month, if you observe BT's white-spot is out(again!?) for more than 3-days. Consider change 5-10% water and Dose Myxazin(Reef-safe if you apply correctly..half-dosage for my case) will help to keep Ich away and will save you a few sleepless night..

The UV have to be on 24/7 in order for it to work efficiently. Its what the instruction manual wrote.
