Default DIY Plywood tank

Came across this interesting DIY tank, instead of glass/acrylic, its made of plywood with a front glass/acrylic panel. You read it right, its a tank made of plywood.

Check it out here at the Reefcentral forum:

I still dont trust wood .. especially when its building a tank. If I were to build 1 .. I would use fibreglass instead.

Me too, i don't think its safe to use plywood, there's always the danger of not protecting the wood properly.

The main thing i just wanted to do is to share with everyone that someone did such a tank.

New or old, i believe this hasn't been shared before in this forum, so i thought why not share, just let everyone know that someone attempted to make a plywood tank.
