Default Moba Egg-bound Wiggler Video and Pics!!!!!!

I decided to strip my black moba momma this evening on day 12. I gave her this name because she is a wc moba frontosa that is almost jet-black. She was beginning to dip down into the sand a little so I thought I'd better strip or possibly lose some of her little ones. she's never done the dipping before.

she was elusive tonite! took about 15 minutes to net her and once I brought her out of the water it was splash-city!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I counted 35 F1 egg-bound wigglers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is her largest spawn.

I took a vid of the wigglers in my new tumbler. It has a double screen on it for added protection. the vid also shows the wc's and my 19 month old F1's and my 11 F1's in a diy floating nursery. I'm also posting a few still shots of the newbies.......they are kinda blurry.........tried to get close-ups but they came out kinda blurry........maybe my hand shaking from the rush!!! LOL

Her fry are special and I think I'm going to keep a few from this spawn and grow them out as part of my personal collection.

Hope you enjoy the vid and picture show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

newborn pics!!!!!!!!!

another one!

I like the new tumbler!

F1 moba fry growing-out in my diy floating nursery. I added another 1" of holes and changed out my floats. I'm feeding them NLS Grow 1x daily.

Love to experience breeding frontosa but I have to wait 2 years at least because my fishes are 1.5 inches only.

Ron, your Moba is a killer! If only your fish is in Singapore, there will be a queue right outside your house.
