conductivity will be 1/2 of the tds. example crs is between 175-225 tds, conductivity will be 87.5- 112.5

Thanks.
Any way, how to lower tds. Mine is currently is 248ppm. Collected rain water and now filtering it with carbon..hope it will lower my tds. How envy some can have tds at 150 to 225..mine along very high... Could it be because for the coral chip..in the sump tank. |

I would say TDS = 0.5 x conductivity. But not all manufacturer use the factor 0.5. So it is advisable to use conductivity, it cant go wrong between different manufacturer, brands and its intended purpose of use.
