Default Restless aro

Hi bros,

Really thank the bros here in aromedic. My PG had a internal infection not long ago, Aka bloatty stomach,, becos of that cant swim well, tail portion keeps going afloat.

Treated it with medication, now problem solved, but realised it has become very restless. I am not sure if the water quality is bad cos the other 2 aros are doing fine with fantastic appetite so any advice on what I should look out for? It still eats but keeps staying at bottom of tank to rest???!

HI Bro,

my PG about 8 mths old, 13-14 incher.. a bit worried about nitrate level but the other 2 aros are fine leh???!!

It is also not so old or big to like resting.. a bit worried to see the other 2 so healthy and lively and this one sticks to the bottom motionless... sometimes seem as though the bloated stomach is still not cured?!! sigh...

hopefully your water parameters are fine. To make sure....get a test kit...and check the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph...etc.

if these are good.....and your aro just rest on the bottom most of the time....but eats during feeding time.....then you have a lazy aro

Adding tankmates or powerhead/water pump on the bottom (directed towards the sitting spot of your aro).....will help your aro be more active.

in addition, I observe before when my aro sits on the bottom frequently.............by just turning off the lights....my aro starts to swim on the surface ASAP. I guess she hates the lights

i hope this helps.
