Default Mission Accomplished

Finally got the guts to op my RTG, the tail was crooked and it had to be done. I want to know if i did the following okay:

-I never fully knocked out the fish, was afraid it'd go to sleep forever, only transmore till it's dorwsy then put on cloth and held it down then cut it while it was slightly conscious.

-How long should i have left him in the transmore water?

-Whats the aprox. dose for transmore? I was afraid to use it lol.

It was pretty successful, he was stil drowsy after the cut so put him in tank with aereation for about 10-15 mins till it regain conscious then bagged it and accumilate it into the tank again.

i would like some pointers from bros who have done this.
