Default Qns abt DIY fan

Hello everyone,

I current have a spare AC-DC 12V adapter and its rated up to 0.85A.

Is it safe to run 2*80mm 12V fans with this adapter? The total current draw for the two fans will be abt 0.7A.

Thanks

The only problem is you'll find your fans running slower than usual, since the adapter is not able to supply sufficient power to the fans.

No advisable since ur fan will not be fully utilised. Might as well use one instead.

i think the combined power required for both fans is .7A, in that case it should be okay to use the adapter
