My new electric blue crossback has a fat lip
When i bought my first arowana a few days ago i notice the tip of his lip right between the barbels was white and fat also his barbels were pointing down and kinda frayded i didnt think much of it cuz this was my first arowana so i didnt know if it was right or not. After I took him home I notice him raming the glass of the tank rather hard a few times so i think he got a fat lip and damaged barbels from this behavior.
Can anybody tell me how I could heal his lips, if it can be healed and how to stop him from ramming the glass if i can? thank you |

give him time to settle down. should calm down soon. meanwhile make sure you have "very routine" schedule of events happening around him. if you off the light at ard 12, do it every daily. he will be used to it soon.
btw i used to have wireless switch for the lights. i played with it until the aro dun care anymore.... today, i can walk near the tank in the dark. he dun care too... |
