remove all gravel, change water, add salt, add heater. maintain consistent water change and monitor water parameters.

Popeye is when an eye or both eyes pop out or bulge out from the fish's head
It is believed to be bacterial in nature and is sometimes attributed to poor water quality.

your fish may probably suffering from the exposure to ammonia and nitrite.Check your water parameters. Especially your nitrates. Makes sure your levels are where they need to. Examine your fish and their behavior. Remember, putting a healthy fish back in an unhealthy environment is not favorable.

Eye infections can be difficult to treat, and sometimes take up to a month of treatment.

Aquarium salt will help, as will frequent small water changes. I'd also reduce the feeding even more, getting the water quality handled is the best thing you can do for them right now

Maracyn, is a antibiotic used in the treatment of popeye, as well as a host of other diseases

Melafix is really mostly useful for healing wounds. For a severe infection like the popeye, stronger medication is needed. Maracyn seems to be recommended often as an antibiotic to look for at pet stores.

Try Maracyn 1 & 2 in combination as they have a much better reputation than either used separately (synergy of action). I would also focus on doing more frequent water changes, as often times cloudy eye is something seen in fish kept in less than ideal water condtions

Hopefully it will clear it up.

Cool

I think, your water's contaminated by the gravel surface / bottom. If you have another tank, cycled the water with salt & changed Aro over.
Cleared gravel completely, cycled the water & transfer back Aro if you preferred. Cloudy eyes can be easily cured with AQUMEDI MULTICURE.
You'll notice No. 28 on label's bottom. Cost you $9 - $10 for 120ml. This lotion
have to use with clean & cycled water. Try the above & keep us update.
