redcross Some tearage of fins: Silver Arrowana

Is it normal for the arrowana while growing up (mine is about a month and a half old) to develop some jagged fin growth? It is mostly the anal fin (lower long fin at the bottom of a silver and a bit at the dorsal). Other than that my aro is acting, eating, and swimming fine (water/temp parameters of my 90g) are perfect as well. There are no white edges to the fins, but it does look bad since when I first picked him up the fins were mostly straight (when first picked up at the lfs). My aro has grown quite fast and that fins that are jagged seem to be longer then the normal line when he was smaller. Is this some type of fin/growth spurt...let me try to attach a picture....I hope it is not some type of bacterial infection

Sometimes even water parameters are all perfect, u need to maintain good water management such as doing regular water changes, replacement of wool, clearing uneaten food,etc.... Try adding aquarium salt and see how.

Yes..doing that now. The first thing I notice is that the guy is way more active now..seems more hungrier, but the finnage still seems the same. I will do a water change in a couple of day...more salt...more melafix. Hopefully that will improve things...
