one protruding scale

My RTG jumped last night and dropped one scale. Today I noticed that scale on stomach is protruding and looks like something red underneath. Will injured scale just drop or is there an infection?

any other abnormal behaviour?
i suggest u monitor the area mentioned closely. meanwhile, ensure good water condition and reduce possible stress. u may add some epsom salt.
if it is injury, it should heal in weeks time.
if condition were to worsen, identify the exact problem (some pics will be useful) according to the checklist in the forum.
