Default need some expert recommendation

notice that in my sump or in the tank, as the water pump wire, air hose, or anything dip inside the tank water.. sooner or later there is a coat of white white thingy...
wat is that??? Protein???
and how to get rid of it...

If u r adding salt... could be its residue... when dried.

many many thanks
an accumulation of slime and minerals in your tankwater....put in a guppy or two lor.

Such accumulation is gathered there due to the flow of water passing the wires/hoses constantly due to pump effect. Just like forming of a river delta.

no wonder guppy tank don have....

get those unpregnant giant females x 2pcs ~ more hardy and less likely to be sucked into pump....should check disease-free before purchase, avoid using feeders here.

Deposits can also come from your water treatment chemicals, fishwaste, feed, etc, along with slime.

sometimes those are the residue from your ceramics rings, bacteria house etc...........
