redcross "things" growing on my aro's back....need help IDing and Solving



sorry for the blurry picture..can't get a good picture of my aro....

anyway, from the picture..you can see lots of "things" growing on its back area....only happened this tuesday... i have no idea what that "things" are. hence i have no idea on where to find a solution for it...

any bros here encounter such "things" before?.... can recommand solutions to help my aro?...

May be u get can some suggestion from AroBoy 2 a bro here ....He is a experience guy here , sometimes i follow the link and follow his recommendation it always work

Looks like cotton wool leh. (Not sure hor) Can you provide more details like what are the white stuff appearing???? Water parameters??? Aro eating???? Filter??? Tanks size????? Water change frequency????

hi aroboy..thanks for your prompt attention...

the "things" growing on my aro back is hard..and not removable (i tried to use my fingers to rub them off my aro's back)

i'm feeding my aro live shrimps....water change once a week....3 feet tank...

as for water parameters..urm..i don't have any monitoring instrument yet..

Those "Things" are found only the head region or spreading? You have to check it out post more pics so that the medics here can give you better professional advice. Get those water parameters readings are important! Cheers!

hi bro,

from the pic, seems it scratch it top side, can have pic on the top view?
just a suggestion, do a water change and add in 0.3% of salt, while waiting for the medics to respone to ur aids.

Bro, seem to me is abrasion on its head. Think most likely it hit something on the surface of its head and part of the skin came out. Anything in your tank that may cause this?
