hi principal,

if u suspect it's infection, suggest u take some precautionary measures to prevent the condition from deteriorating. maintain good water param & monitor closely.
as mentioned by kyo_k81, some pics would certainly help.

Cheers.

What size of tank, how many fish, how big are the fish, what type of substrate, what type of filtration, the frequency & the percent of water changes you perform ..... all of these things will determine the bio load in your tank, which will determine the nitrate level in your tank.

If you can maintain Ammonia=0, Nitrites=0 and 25 ppm and below for nitrates, is nothing to worry about.

The size of my tank is 4 ft, I used bio ball and ceremic ring as filter media. Onli got one11" RTG with a small sucker fish. Nitrite is O, nitrate is 5mg and I do water change every week. And the PH jus tested is 5.9 (without the calibration flluid, don know whether accurate) and onli one drift wood is put inside. Is this adequate?
