purified water - suitable?

i'm wondering whether water from purifying water systems are suitable to be used for topping up our marine tanks?

As long as you keep the water parameters in check, I see no reason why you can't use purified water if you can afford the operating cost.

Using other alternatives could be less costly too as you have to take into the account of the filtration and chemical media used.

i'm only having a nano tank so amt required for top-ups won't be too much.
have one of these in my office so..... now where did i put my mineral water bottle?

Bro, you still have to check the water parameters though, due to the high/frequent usage of the purifier, staff from your office may not notice any drop in water quality as they use it for consumption, and the servicing of the system may not be that frequent too. But on the other hand, if your company did send someone for servicing regularly, then it could be worth using.
