Default Super Recovery???

I'm a newbie but something really wierd happen to my G2 lately.

My G2 was badly injured due to comms with a bigger G2. My heartaches to see the tear n drop scale.

I went to an over trip for 5 day but forgot to turn off the heater. Heater was set @ 32 Degree. When I came back, the torn fin was fully recovered and the wound was 50% recovered. I was very puzzled @ the rate of recovery. Any pros out there can enlighten me on this???

Cheers
