If water parameters are good, you can let it starve all it wants... he will give in someday. My RTG starve itself for 3-4 months when I removed his tankmate ST that stayed together with him for 2-3 years. He was eating normally the morning before I removed his tankmate.

Put in Nutrafin Cycle yesterday, today appetite back to normal. Thumb up for this product. I ever used it many years ago.

i guess the must have been stressed then coz the water was not properly cycled
