Default water problem?

Dear brothers, need all of your kind advise here. yesterday i decided to gave away my greenie to a friend of mine shift down my dfi and place in my new 4incher rtg. the 4 incher is swimming ok and happy. but the problem is 2 hours after i shifted down my dfi and its 2 tank mate the albino silver colour and red fins fish (dunno its name), both the tankmate died . immidiately i takes out about 20% of the tank water and put in water from the top tank, where the dfi was from and put in new tankmate and a pleco. 2 hours later the tankmate died but the pleco is still ok. but today the pleco died + a couple of gf. the situation now is dfi looks ok, but refuse to eat, some gf left. my question is that the problems lies with its water or the sumersible pump is too strong as its meant for 4ft now in a 3ft tank. because the top tank is using iso. i have checked the water parameter, and it shows normal. pls advise as i don't want to lose an old fish because of a new one. thank you all.

depends on your tank size. Don't put in one shot, do it over a few days

i must agree with the bro here. I have experience in goldfish and is new to aro. I think all bros here can remember when small how u put ur goldfishes from farm excursion into the fish bowl and the next day all die. This only I understand many yeras later is due to PH shock. ever since I had corals chips in my fish tank filter, not a single one of them die suddenly.
