Default Just for info on condenser fan of Hailea Chiller( for the DIY fanatics)

Nothing better to do so post some technical stuff here to share.

My second hand Hailea Chiller fan refused to turn today and was told that at least in local mkt quite a no of Hailea users reported fan not turning...
orignal fan used in 1/4HP model is Hualian YJF-5
http://www.hualian-elec.com/eBusines...&productid=146

Have since replaced with GE motor , 51 frame unit cast iron motor
http://www.a-1components.com/pages2/...ors/page1.html

Test run the chiller , not bad, quite a powerful and quiet fan....

Will do a review of Hailea 1/4HP once finish exam..

I'm also using a 1/4hp Hailea chiller, pretty happy with it.

Its pretty noisy after 1+ yrs, metal rattling sound everytime the chiller kicks in.

Wonder if its b'cos of a worn out fan.

Yah monster1975 i believe its a good chiller tat's why i got it. Flipside , i don think it is due to the worn out fan that causes the rattling sound...maybe some metal parts loose? Anyway if yrs is the old model CA-260 , then i think its time to open up chiiler to perform maintenance cos it does not come with pre filter mesh unlike resun , so lots of dirt will have accumulated at the fins.

I have this 1/4 Hailea chiller, it does not start automatically when the water tempreature reach above setting temperature.

The compressor only kick in when i first do the required tempreture setting. After it reaches the refrigeration compressor stop working and never start again.

I got this used set from a bro and its at this condition i bet if i contact him again he will deny its faulty. So thinking of senting to any repair shop or agent in Singapore whereby can fix it. Any bro know where I can sent to?

I think you can try calling Keong Seong if I recall correctly at Havelock . They are the distributor for Hailea .
