help!!! rtg fins look like they are burning off!!!

my rtg swims fine and looks healthy however, it looks like his fins and tail is burning off slowly from the edges!?! does anyone know what this might be? my friend at the aquarium place said I may be changing too much of the water, 50% every month.

bro, 50% per month of WC not good....maybe 10-30% per week better

for this burning, could be chlroine burning....

remember to add anti chlorine as u perform WC...i used stress coat or nutrafin

another possibility is ph too low. what's the pH??
