My Silver with HITH and Feeding Questions
Bros i bought my new silver aro at abt 6 or 7 inch in length...
housed in a 4 by 2 by 2 feet aquarium with 1000 and 600 l/hr two internal filters with filter wools... I got 2 hi fin carps, 6 tin foils barbs, 2 electric blues cichlids and one blueline shark more of catfish... had 2 black ghosts at 6 inch aro ate 1 now the prob is tht first fish keep rubbing things in aquarium to an extent tht a few scales have disappeared from the skin of tin foils and hi fin carps...The tank should have been cycled as its been 2 months. Even i changed 50% water but still it keeps rubbing Now I see a hole in the head of my carps and something such in my aro head.. plus other problem my aro enjoys live food i dont want to infect my tank and he rejects MPs and pellets tried to starve him but he enjoys treated with chicken breast would tht be ok if i give him raw... please temme of the hole in the head no mucus from it now.... aro doesnot rubs and all fish go about the entire tank playing please temme if i need to add any meds and stuff abt aro diet please. |

According to your pm, the lesions are symmetrical. Symmetrical 'holes' are usually not because of HITH disease. However HITH disease may start off with the holes of the lateral line getting bigger. If your aro & fishes are still eating well & behaving normally, then I would advice against putting any medication in the tank. Cheers.
