redcross help.

i transferred my aro to a new tank a week ago. It was very stressed out but starting eating and swimming normally after 2 days. a week has passed and it has been parking on the bottom of the tank for long periods of time only occassionally swimimg. added black water to calm the fish down but no improvement as of yet have parrot fishes as tank mates and they all seem fine.any bros can advice me

Is normal for me. When my Arro see me coming he will start to swim towards me. waiting for me to feed, after i left he will swim for awhile & swim to the bottom to take a break. He eat & grow well.

u can try to paste black omaya paper at 3 sides of the tank,let your aro feel comfortable..no tank mates period of the time..dun scared your aro.

generally, jardini's are the ones who asks for food wen they see u but after awhile when he sees u staring st him for so long already, it goes down and stays down the bottom of the tank looking bak at u as if its scared of wat u may do to it.

but i so far i never saw asians and silvers do this kind of behavior..

Check your water parameters such as ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH.
