Maybe you can share with us the tank setup, filtration, lifestock in your tank, etc.

When I increased aeration by turning on additional air pump, gasping more intensed. Off air pump better. Did a search on the net/forum only reason I can think of is that internal gill could have been damaged. Otherwise behaving & eating normal. Will it ever recover
