Whitish matter on Aro
Noticed some whitish woolish stuff on both sides of my aro's head...not very extensive but can see the stuff moving to the current of water when aro swims. Think it is not moving by itself rather due to water movement.
Any bros can advise what it is? I have just dropped some oceanfree fungus medication (multipurpose type can cure fin rot too) but only one third of recommended dosage. Aro eating very well. What should i do...? monitor first? |

Since you have added medication, what you need to do now is monitor your aro. Any improvement/cure in later if not, do some water changes and add in activated carbon to absorb the medication. Cheers.

Further to my above post, next time try to do some water changes and add more salt to see how thing goes. I would use medication as a last resort if condition of my fishes are still bad. Cheers.

Went home just now and saw that the wooly whitish matter are gone. Think medication works..however..i noticed there is one small protruding speck of something on my aro..not sure if it is moving slowly on my aro's scale. Have seen that before on my small green...think i will have to monitor closely again.. |
