Upzz for you.

Cheers,
White spot or lich will try to lay eggs before they die . Put the heater to 32 for 3 days . Check the condition . If better turn to 30 and keep it for at least 2 weeks . You have to make sure that the lich , eggs to young lich are all killed before you off the heater . You can also use waterlife protozin for pelco . Proven on my zebra pleco group before . If i am not wrong for white spot it happen only onces for the fish . If you can cure them in time it should be fine after that already . Hope that helps

Please be also very careful when getting med for pleco . Not all med can be used on them . The best is to ask the expert first .

Hmm, i think heater will suffice. Better not use salt/medication as yet, since the outbreak is still small. Seems like white spot is like a worm(if they can lay eggs)?

Heehee, thats why post here for all you experts for help Now i have to scout for a heater..

cheers,

The med can help to speed up the process . Dont worry I havw been through this for some of my pleco . Test and proven for protozin . For heater please get a better one . I would only trust the branded ones for heater . Dont save on it .

Im using a digital thermometer, don't know whether its accurate as the temperature displayed is always 1.5degrees less than my room temperature(or is it because water is always cooler than ambient temperature?).

How does a heater work? You can manually set the temperature to your preference on the heater?

Im using acardia for my lightings, which is very effective in preventing the heat to be transmitted to the water

cheers,
