Good observation.Fish in such a confined space tend to be stressed out.It is good to isolate fish for a few days without any food before they are reintroduce to community.Observe the fish daily for any abnormal behaviour(like gasping,scratching or physical signs of white spots,slime or redness)
Some may like to use mild salt to revitalise the fish while others like to use mild disinfectant like methylene blue to control impending parasitic outreaks.There are no hard and fast rules just a matter of preference.
