Default Help with sump *URGENT*

hi guys i need your help very much. made a mistake of buying fish thinking of sump later.

i have a 3ft sump under my tank will attach pic for you guys to see

can you all provide me with details on what should go in each respective compartment?

currently i am using an external filter for my 5ft.

please let me know.

i have bought black medium pore sponge, fine wool, jap mat, and have some ceramic rings from my external filters.

please let me know what i should do thank you bros!

1 is the glass covers to prevent splash back.
2,3,4,5 i dont have a CLEAR idea of what to put there and in what order.
6 can be either pump or some more stuff.
if 6 is some more stuff than 7 is pump.

also added info my tank is IOS. topflow. any bros that can help me please do i really need your golden advice.

pump wise will be getting an eheim 1262 cause running a 5ft tank.

Here's a thread with pics of how some of the hobbyist arrange medias in their sump, might be of good assistance for your reference when making choice of medias. Also you may wanna know that quality media goes very well, and u need to calc. how much media in tandem with the bioload in your 5FT tank.

IMO, for your 3FT sump, 2&3 use Filter wool, follow by Jap matt + BacHse.
Section 4, throw in quality media such as BH, BH+, Eheim substrate, etc.,.

Last compartment put in oyster shells or CR (coz I think sump might be a little cramp so make use of last compartment for PH buffer medias.

Also there are some hobbyist who make good use of the EOS compartment and fill them up with bioballs or BacHse...but your choice coz some says there's a danger in getting choke and overflow....
