white spots of betta fry

I have a tank of three-week old betta fry. i've noticed little white spots on their tails and bodies two days ago and today and yesterday i found about 15dead fry. Is it velvet or itch and how to i treat it? dont wna lose all the fry

Sounds like ich to me; increase water temp. is the easiest, but when it gets really out of control medication should be used.
