not sure what is the meaning of the title, are the fishes have competition standard or the fishes can enter competition.
seriously i did not recognize any hmpk from the fishes you posted, may be my standard is so low.  my guess the one who sell the fishes to you should be able to justify why he claimed competition grade? when you go to the competition, observed the winning fishes, more or less you will know what is a competition grade standard. anyway, enjoy your fishes.  if the competition grade like this, i will joyfully happy enter my dragons....

i guess you label it as your personal assumption. if you think your fishes are off competition grades,so be it.
only thing to prove that is to enter a betta competition. google around. there are pictures to show and identify what a comp grade betta looks like.
