Default Help, pleco changing colours

My plecos had been changing colours from black to pinkish transparent white, is there anything which I can do to make it change back to its original colour? And what causes the colour change anyone please advice, thank you

Pleco changes color according to the enviroment (black tank to white tank) or it is too stress from something (poor water condition). Worst case scenario tat it is suffering from sickness. care to share a pic of your pleco and the water parameters?

I will take and post if possible, but very hard cos they keep hiding. I do a 20% wc every 2 days, added some salt and anti chlorine. Btw what's the ideal pH for plecos?

Wat r the size of your plecos?
Filtration by?
Clear tank?
Drift wood?
Newly setup tank?
Water parameters? Ammonia, Nitrite and nitrate readings..
Salt not neccessary for plecos. Will kill them if they consume it. Must mix well b4 dosing and at a very low percentage.
From your case of 20% WC every other day and with salt added every other day.... the salt concentration might be to stress for your plecos.
Why do you need to WC every other day bro? How many fishes do you have in that same tank.
Hope I not to loh so as will not want your precious pleco to up lorry becos of stupid mistake we hobbbist including myself made.
