pellet water = scoop a cup of tank water & soak it with 20++ pellets
after few hours, test the water with your test kit if it doesn't shows trace of ammonia, your test kit might not be accurate remove all the pellets and keep the water next day test for nitrite and following for nitrate all your reading should not be zero HTH cheers |

Noted will try that. Btw i used two different test kits sera n api. For both, only one test result slightly different. Only ammonia has very slight reading for sera brand.
Will try n update again. Fourth day since sunday, water still cloudy. Did two times wc 20-30% with no feeding. My lights are not on 24/7 already reduced to few hours a day. What shld be my next step shld water be still cloudy? |

you can never go wrong with partial water change
10% a day will be good remember to treat your water with conditional and if required, other additives/supplements/medication you might want to try zeolite, carbon or other media to control your water quality adding more filter media might help too my knowledge is pretty limited, hopefully the lao jiao here can help you good luck |
