Silver Arowana help
Hey guys;
I've been gone for 8 years ... Finally, got back in the hobby because my little son loves fish. Anyway, I have 3 small silvers in a 60gallon tank. And the biggest one out of the 3; stops swiming and sinks to the bottom. And I would think this guy would float already and die but just when I think he'll die. He'll start swiming and act like nothing ever happen. I've never experienced this. What do you guys think its happening??? |

The most basic & common question comes to mind.....is your tank water cycled?

he's dying as well ... his tail is all messed up look like it he got in a fight ... He has been fighting not to die but today I think he's going to float...
I dont know what else to do ... I put coral chips in my fluval 405 ( replace the factory bio wheels) to help with the PH ... If I cant figure out what is going on with this tank ... I havent fed the arowanas I'm down to 2 arowanas thats ok but one is dying... Worst case scenario is take out the last 2 and re-do whole tank with sand or coral chips... This is my first bare tank and I never had issues with ph dropping like this... |
