bichir very sick
Hi bros,
have a bichir about the size of 12" thereabout. not sure abt the breed but its yellow in base colour, with black spots scattered around its body. anyway, it has been eating well until about a month or so ago, it flipped over and stayed that way for quite some time. From then, it has never eaten till today. Occasionally it will try to struggle reallly hard to flip back over on its belly, but after a while maintaining that posture, it flips over belly-up again. One thing i noticed was that there was a red patch on the belly. now its gone, cus the belly is sunken in, resulted from loss of appetite i believe. I have tried to isolate it into another temp tank, increase salt. added multicure, but to no avail. ANy bros facing the same prob? |

You might want to try pimafix bro. Its most likely due to internal bacteria. But seeing its current condition as described by you, it should be abit too late to cure it back to its health now. Good luck bro.
