This is a Sanke, with sumi on head! In general, sumi stripes on fin will consider Sanke, sumi patch on pectoral fin will be consider showa. The sumi for Sanke is different from sumi from Showa. Sanke is with smaller Spot/patch sumi. Showa's sumi is like warpping the body. The old definition was that Showa is a Black koi with red and white pattern. (But I've not understod this definition myself) There are also another way of identifying Showa, which is Sumi in the mouth. But all these are blur now, with Sanke have large sumi patches and also strong sumi on head! (Although this will get demerit point in Koi Show) In anyway, have fun in koi keeping is more important. Sanke or showa quite confusing. Most important you like the koi.
