My fishes no have white spot, tail rots, internal infection and what have you. Maybe they have some diseases that I can't see but they seems fine, swiming around happily.

No death so far except for 1 butterfly moor which died one day after I bought her. Her companion is still alive and kicking so her death couldn't be my fault. Then there's a little ryukin that died due to injury caused when she got trapped between objects and lots of scales dropped off. That's my fault for not providing a free flowing space for them.

Sometimes I see air bubbles in my GF's poos but switching to sinking type pellets have reduced them quite significantly.

I'll probably get bombarded for saying this but something I'm doing is probably right to the extend that overcrowding is fine for me.

Okay... fire away....
Dont be like me, one day came home, all died. When they are still small, still ok, but when they grow and grow and u become attached to them, that's the time u feel the heartache.

My sympathy.

All gone in the same day? I think either your water parameters are seriously bad for a long time, or the fishes got murdered man. Did you check your maid's evil grin that evening??

Yeah, one big fish produce more waste exponentially than a small fish ie. waste produce by 1 six inch goldfish is equal to 120 one inch fish. Most people think that a six inch goldfish is equal to 6 one inch fish. This was documented by Steve Meyer.
