Hi Alex. Good discussion over pellet-feeding for rays, i'm assuming the discolouration will only be especially obvious of those with clean white spots?

I was told they come from a PDR sp x Henlei sp parentage.
Yup i'm also very contented with this pair..

Pellets maunufacturers actually add colour enhancer into their feed (esp for red colour), as such, feeding them to rays will "discolour" them to a certain degree.

The contrast is due to the black tank, if put into clear or white tank (which we usually like to do), the contrast may not be that obvious for now but may improve as it grow.

Awesome SP pair. Really nice! But the female looks kind of thin. Do pump them up. Great rays and happy raykeeping!
