Ray renew their sting every 3months, the new sting will grow fully before the old one drop. So you may not notice the old one has dropped and the aro eats it.

Wish ur aro can spilt out or you may transmore it and take it out!

Yup, every few months will shed the old and grow a long, thicker spike.
some fish, depending on its character, will go put inside their mouth, just like young kids....

use a tweezer when u do... dont handle the sting with your own hand

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. As mentioned earlier, I did an emergency procedure and removed the ray's spike.

From the last part of the video, the spikes of both rays are present. Guess my arowana swallowed the old one.
