Several fish species go on CITES app. III with effect from 3 January 2017.
Brazil lists:

Hypancistrus zebra
Potamotrygon spp. - all Brazilian populations
Colombia lists:
Potamotrygon constellata
P. magdalenae
P. motoro
P. orbignyi
P. schroederi
P. scobina
P. yepezi
Paratrygon aiereba

You know.. if they stop damming and logging and clearing the amazon forest area empty, the above should not require to be on CITES list...

Appendix III is a list of species included at the request of a Party that already regulates trade in the species and that needs the cooperation of other countries to prevent unsustainable or illegal exploitation (see Article II, paragraph 3, of the Convention). International trade in specimens of species listed in this Appendix is allowed only on presentation of the appropriate permits or certificates.

Yalor, that means they cannot export and import ? Usually price will go up , I think
