here is a picture of how the aro is sitting in the tank? he/she only does this when it is not swimming. the spine has noticibly straightened out only after 3 days. Im on the 4th day of treatment. please share your opinions on how to treat the slant. i dont want the bent spine to reappear again. also is the water level too high still? how can I lower the waterlevel and keep the filter running?

thank you again!

here is the picture on third day of treatment.

Doesn't really look like got spine problem, if spine would be very hard to cure. More like swim bladder issue. I do encountered once with my small aro years back, really bad case head up, body down, it is like perpendicular to the base of the tank, slowly after 2 months plus managed to heal it. I think some of you might have seen this aro, it is at c328 really poor thing so I adopted it. As with my current big aro I'm praying hard that it will recover soon too.

What type of filter u using? Last time i cannot continue to use my external filter so I used those small internal power filter but instead of it standing up I placed it lying down on the tank bottom on its side. But you still would have to change water after every 2-3 days at least thats what I do as you can see with the lower water level the tank water can get polluted very fast. You can try to reduce feeding too esp if it has swim bladder problem.

For me i just add 2 air stone to provide alot of oxygen. No need to add filter since not feeding. Just do water change every 2days with anti chlorine added. Top up the salt & epson salt can liao
