Lately, fish-keeping has not been so smooth for me. Perhaps time to reconsider the hobby and move on and spent more time on my little "mermaids".

Thanks to the bros in this thread who has provided strength for me in the last 1 hour.

Sad to hear this... My condolences to you...

Could it be adding too much of different substances at one time harzardous to our Aro? IMO, i think maybe anticholorine and good aeration in small contained container or pail may help your Aro survive until he regains conscious.....before transfer him back to his tank...

I still remember got one time, i put Green Mosquito Netting in the water to wrap some pebbles o stones and the next morning i wake up, my Aro turn upside down but still surviving...thinking of no hope, i quickly remove my aro and put him into the pail and add anticholorine only....i aerate well with powerful air pump and every minutes pass, my aro gets better and few hours later he swim normally and i transfer him back into his tank..just lucky to wake up early that day...

I found out the green mosquito netting produce toxic chemical residue when imersed in the water...the water smell terrible...

Could never emulate your depth of knowledge and care you rendered on your aros. Hope to learn more from you to groom my remaining aros. TQ.
