Default Help Needed, Especially Prayers For Aro Recovery

This morning was doing water-change half way for one of my aro tank when interrupted by a visitor. The visit took longer than expected and in the mist of chit-chat, the tank was completely drained. It was only brought to my attention when my kids came running to tell me about the fish struggling. The fish could have been without water for couple of minutes.

Immediately pumped in water (from tap but filtered through water filter system of fine filter mechanical block and charcoal block). Added normal salt (2 mugs) Stress Coat (2~3capfuls), Otto Condensed Black Water (1 cap) and 1/8th of a std Epsom salt pack (fish could have taken in lots of air). The tank is well aerated with heater set to 30degrees.

Tankmate, a Feifeng looks recovered but aro looks extremely weak. It tends to stay on the water surface with only gills movement and the tail movements. The body looks pretty stiff.

The PH has maintained pretty much the same before and after water-change. Already called Vetduck for advice and complied with all necessary actions.

What's left is the fish's fighting spirit to live on and your prayers to those of you who read this post.

Thank you for your prayers. I do hope to post good news.

Thanks Bro Sloow but too late. Beloved SL XB did not make it. I failed to take good care of it. Despite keeping aro for years, still make fundamental errors, too cocksure that nothing could happen. Did not focus on the water-changing activities and go entertain someone else at the same time. Twice this happen and this time fatal. Guess what, the same bro is the visitor on both times. But cannot fully blame him oso, I m the owner, I take the responsibility.

Lately, fish-keeping has not been so smooth for me. Perhaps time to reconsider the hobby and move on and spent more time on my little "mermaids".

Thanks to the bros in this thread who has provided strength for me in the last 1 hour.
