Default Coralife salt

Hi all... I'm in the process of changing salt and need some opinions about coralife salt. Anyone tested the salt on their Ca/dKh/Mg level before? I'm quite particular about the level as I find no point in buying salt that contain these elements in extremely low level and then spend more money to buy addicitives to bring them up to the suitable level.

If coralife's Ca/dKh/Mg is not high enough.. I may have to buy Marine Environment Seems like C328 is selling quite expensive too.. qouted me $38 for a 50gallon pack.

No one i know test it. However I think some time back, there was a post comparing the various salt brands.

Even if we compare physically by our self. I doubt ppl will be move by such noble cause.

Ok, i drifted off. I agree with u on good bag of salt and depend less or no on additivies. I am a pro-Bob Fenner. So use less of what i do not know.

I have switched from red sea to coral life. I see no apparent diff.

yah I have read a lot about the comparisons.. Marine Environment is definitely rated better than coralife although lots of ppl are using coralife Wonder if coralife salt can give me Ca - 400pm, dkh-7, Mg-1300ppm...

I used tropic marin, aquamedic and corallife before. I would vote for corallife for being the best value for $. So far I quite happy with the CL salt except once I got a bad batch that gives Mg >2000ppm!

Hey! Thanks guys for the great input! After hearing the good comments, I have finally decided to go for coralife. Save myself some money. Ca - 560ppm, kh-8 is considered very good.. Ca is too high in fact.. but it will be easily used up by my growing coralline and acros next time...

Will be getting a coralife bucket soon! Marine Environment is toooo-oooo expensive...
