weird looking poop
I usually feed my aro pellets. i recent changed his pellets to a new larger type in the past 3 weeks. he isnt eating the pellets right away and lately i see poop floating on the surface and now i see a white slimey looking poop with a bubble in it floating. when he eats the pellets i notice a lot of bubbles coming out of his gills when he is chewing. is this from the pellets? btw i never feed any live feeders except SW once a week to flush out his system.

Medium or short chunky poop or poop the colour of the food - Good poop Long thin poop - not eating well, usually stress related Thick long poop - a little constipated or overfeeding and the food is moving thru the fish too quickly and doesn't have time to be digested Clear long poop - re-absorbed eggs Thin white poop - usually is a sign of internal infection clear poop with bubble - not eating well Dark poop, sausage like, long mucousy casing, floating suspended by bubble - gases trapped in floating foods, foods are being fermented by gases causing bacteria, fish are eating bubble Hope this can help. |
